Meet Bryce

Learn more about my story—and why I created Doing Life Today.

I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at 40.

Not a single soul outside my family knew for years. I didn’t look like I had it. I didn’t talk about it. And honestly, I thought hiding it made it easier.

But I learned something: hiding doesn’t help anyone.

It doesn't make the stiffness go away. It doesn’t stop the emotional rollercoaster. And it certainly doesn’t help the next person who’s sitting in a neurologist’s office, wondering what comes next.

So I stopped hiding.

Now I share everything I’ve learned—the good, the bad, and the reality. I created Doing Life Today not just as a channel or a podcast, but as a movement. A place for people with Parkinson’s and those who love them to come together, feel seen, and figure things out together.

If you're navigating Parkinson's—or care about someone who is - this space is for you

My Parkinson’s Diagnosis Story

How It All Began:

It started with a subtle shake in my right hand. At first, I brushed it off—stress, fatigue, maybe too much coffee. But deep down, I knew something wasn’t right.

I was just 40 when I got the diagnosis: Parkinson’s. I didn’t tell many people. I didn’t look like I had it, so I kept it to myself. I thought staying quiet would make it easier.

But I’ve learned that hiding doesn’t help—not me, not anyone else living with this. So now, I talk about it. All of it.

Bryce-ism:

“With Parkinson’s, your body becomes the best communicator you never asked for. The trick is learning the language before it starts shouting.”
